Last Sunday they announced in church that we had a surprise activity, but the men were sworn to secrecy as to what it was. It was last night. They had all of the girls meet in one place--the men were already gone--and we were picked up in groups of nine for a limo ride. They took us to the church and as we walked in we were collected by our spouses. We were lead to a dimly lit room where two guys were singing and playing the guitar and mandalyn. Once all of the girls were there, all of the guys stood up and sang "My Girl."
The tables were covered in white rose petals and little silver beads, with a candle in the middle. The men served us dinner. salad, pasta, and yummy chocolate ice cream. Afterward we were invited into the gym to dance to a couple of slow songs. It was cute and romantic, and I don't think that there is a single girl in our ward that didn't enjoy themselves.
I LOVED IT!!!
